Our oversized non-soap bar is very different from and superior to regular soaps. Most soaps are made by mixing and heating oils and lye, then adding some synthetic fragrance. But, this is what they don't tell you:

• Regular soaps over-cleanse the skin—leaving it dry, rough, often scaly, and sometimes itchy. The excess lye elevates the skin's natural pH, depleting its own moisture. When the skin's moisture barrier is compromised, the skin's immune system is weakened leaving you more vulnerable to toxins, pollutants, bacteria, and viruses.
