There are many different Coral Calcium products on the market today, and this has led to some confusion in the marketplace. Even though virtually all Coral Calcium originates from the Japanese island of Okinawa, there are distinct differences among them.

Okinawa Coral Calcium can come from three different sources:

• Fossilized coral that washes up onto the island beaches. This beach sand can be of uneven quality and purity.

• Prehistoric coral mined from gravel-like pits on land. The great age of these deposits causes a degeneration of the vital mineral content.
